Can you join us?

Before joining Neptune you should ask yourself.

Do you need to compete? Do you have fun under great pressure? Are you eager for hard work? Do you dare to test yourself in a public arena? Are you willing to take great risks? Are you willing to learn, to strive, to struggle, to fail, to persevere and to triumph? Can you measure up to what rowing for a Neptune crew demands?

If the answer is yes, you can join Neptune.

Rowing for Neptune is a unique endeavour, and a thrilling challenge. The past members of Neptune have gone before you and answered those difficult questions. They created the most successful rowing club in Ireland. The present members of Neptune must carry on the previous success of Neptune. So we look for the best candidates to create the most successful oarsmen and women.

Rowing is not an easy sport it requires strength, endurance, skill, body and mind to be a successful rower. Those who pass the test are rewarded with an experience that cannot be duplicated anywhere.

You can be part of this challenge if you are committed to rowing, to Neptune, and to your crew. You can be part of this challenge if you show guts, and grit, and good humour.

Come down to the club and watch us train or get involved and try it out if you think you are up to the challenge.
